PostHeaderIcon co-op prof flatmates airy flat quiet st tubebus park cafes bars £115

Hi and welcome! We are:

Alexandra, 30s, a speech-therapist in London hospitals
Ava, 30s, a boutique hotel manager & Dave 40s (couple), an overseas aid worker (away for much of the year)
Jon, 20s, an IT professional working in the Gherkin!

We are looking for a considerate, friendly, reliable flatmate who is happy to pass the time of day when we chance upon each other in the flat (none of us is here that much!), maybe go out for the odd drink, and has their own life and friends (or is coming to London to live, and is capable of making friends)! This is a relaxed, fun, share-a-glass-of-wine house, not a party-house!

The Room: Airy, double-size room (3m x 2.5m), afternoon sun. Elegant, high-ceilings, original fireplace,furnished.

The Flat: Three toilets, each with washing facilities (so no waiting for the loo!), two bathrooms with shower, one of which also has a bath. Kitchen/Lounge with wall TV, which can accommodate visitors for dinner.

The Street: Helix Rd, off Josephine Ave – quiet, calm, normal, know some of the neighbours.

The Area: Two minute walk to lovely Brockwell Park, with its rose garden, cafe, wild spaces, hill views and Lido. Two minutes to various cafes, live-music pubs (Hootananny, Mango Landing, White Horse), restaurants, and to loads of buses on Brixton Hill and Tulse Hill.

Eight minute walk to Brixton Tube/BR (Victoria Line, 2 stops to Vauxhall, 6 stops to Oxford Circus) and Herne Hill BR (across the park).

The Cost: £115 per week (498pcm) plus £95 pcm for all bills/Council tax/business-specification Broadband/free calls to most international land-lines (bills cheap because shared amongst five), One month deposit, one month in advance. Available from mid to end of August, and happy to sign a contract which allows you to give a month’s notice and retain your existing deposit.
