Child-friendly facilities, such as a cot, are also available on demand, to ensure a pleasant stay for everyone.

Local Area:

Southwark is a South-Eastern area of London which has recently been gaining in visitor popularity due to its location and growing cultural scene. The flat is just minutes from popular dining and nightlife venues (Such as Mediterranean restaurant Bermondsey Kitchen or local quick-bite favourite, Bermondsey Street Coffee). For culture vultures after a taste of London’s ‘quirky fashion capital’ reputation, both the Fashion and the Design Museum are only a short walk away. The iconic brick pinnacle of Tate Modern is also within reach. For visitors after the city’s iconic sights, Tower Bridge is easily reachable by foot, and attractions in the surrounding area (the London Dungeon, for instance) is great fun for the kids. If travelling further out, the nearby London Bridge tube station provides convenient underground links to the rest of the city, and local busses run 24/7.

Very well located. 10 minutes walk to Barons Court tube station (one station away from zone 1) or to West Kensington. 1 min to many bus stops. Shops and all amenities 2 minutes walk. Lovely quiet part of London.

You will be sharing your life with three funny students (22, 21, 20) from Imperial College. Everybody is welcome. Would suit to everybody who wants to share good time with funny guys. We arent clean freaks or anything, but its nicer to live in a tidy house.

This attractive flat is spacious, well presented, and furnished in traditional style. The Kings Road with its fashion boutiques, cafés, bars and restaurants is 5 minutes walk. Sloane Square (tube District and Circle lines) is less than 5 minutes away.
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 in one double and one twin bedroom. There’s one bathroom.
The front door opens onto a small pretty entrance hallway leading to a corridor, off which are all the rooms.
The living/dining room (16ft3 x 12ft6, 4.95m x 3.8m) is furnished with a 3 seater sofa, two arm chairs, a central coffee table and side-tables with lamps. There’s a TV + DVD player and high-speed broadband internet connection.
In the same room, there’s a dining table with seating for 4.
The small but practical kitchen has all the expected appliances
The main bedroom(17ft6 x 12ft3, 5.3m x 3.7m) has a 5ft wide bed and ample storage in built-in cupboards.
The second bedroom (12ft x 7ft10, 3.65m x 2.4m) has a 2 single beds. The bathroom has bath with an over-shower, basin and loo.
Along The Kings Road you’ll find some of the best that London can offer: great shopping, chic cafés, friendly pubs and many good restaurants. But for a very special treat try Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant (he’s one of our most celebrated chefs) in nearby Royal Hospital Road. Many say it’s the best food in London

My family is visiting London sometime in the summer of 2011. We are looking for anyone interested in swapping homes with us. We live about 35 minute drive outside of New York City, in a little lake town called Sparta, New Jersey. We have a 40 year old home, in a very quiet area. It is showing its age a little, but it is clean and fully furnished. There are three bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and dining room, and one bathroom. We are looking for a swap somewhere within a reasonable distance from London. We would like to visit London for anywhere from two to three weeks. We do have one cat you would need to feed.
