Large 3 Bedroom Luxury Building in Central London
Two bedrooms available in brand new, very big (>1,500 square feet) 3 bedroom apartment for GBP250/week. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom apartment is in Merchant Square – a new development in Paddington near Marble Arch and Marylebone. The building is brand new with doorman, dedicated parking, etc.. Appliances, furnishings, etc. are all new and very modern (see pics). The view is great. The neighbors are nice (basically non-existent). There is one young guy living there currently. He’s a great guy (30), courteous, nice and reliable. I moved back to New York, so I have this place through March.

The sandwich portions are generous for the prices, and they have a wide selection. The bread looks better than it tastes, and they use cheap mayonnaise. The coffee is disappointing; the massive cake section is a bit hit and miss.The ladies that work there are really fast, friendly and gorgeous; swiftly dealing with the queues of customers that arrive every day.

I am assuming that this place gets packed at lunchtime because it is cheap and the other cafes nearby are as equally mediocre, also packed with the hospital staff desperate to get something quick in their short breaks.I do really like their soup which changes daily and the staff are upbeat. However avoid the coffee, there is a reason it is a £1.I went in the other day and asked for a scrambled egg baguette. The bread was retrieved from what looked like a freezer. I saw them cook the eggs in a pan, then empty the contents into a plastic jug, and put in the microwave. Why? The bread had been microwaved as well, so it was spongy. Sigh.Why can*t Paddington have some decent food outlets?
